Security Management & Security Training

Information is critical to the operation and perhaps even the survival of your organization. Being certified to ISO/IEC 27001 will help you to manage and protect your valuable information assets.

Continued operations in the event of a disruption, whether due to a major disaster or a minor incident, is a fundamental requirement for any organisation. BS 25999, the world's first British standard for business continuity management (BCM), has been developed to help you minimize the risk of such disruptions.

Training for the Security Industry

Linden can also assist security companies with funded qualifications such as Providing Security Services Level 2, which is 100% funded, if you're a security officer who wants to develop your skills and experience in the profession. You may also want to develop skills in other sectors of the security industry to which you work, such as CCTV, door supervision, Dog Handlers.

Protecting information - your most valuable asset

ISO/IEC 27001 is the only auditable international standard which defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). The standard is designed to ensure the selection of adequate and proportionate security controls.

This helps you to protect your information assets and give confidence to any interested parties, especially your customers. The standard adopts a process approach for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining, and improving your ISMS.

Who is it relevant to?

ISO/IEC 27001 is suitable for any organization, large or small, in any sector or part of the world. The standard is particularly suitable where the protection of information is critical, such as in the finance, health, public and IT sectors.

ISO/IEC 27001 is also highly effective for organizations which manage information on behalf of others, such as IT outsourcing companies: it can be used to assure customers that their information is being protected.

BS 25999 is suitable for any organization, large or small, from any sector. It is particularly relevant for organizations which operate in high risk environments such as finance, telecommunications, transport and the public sector, where the ability to continue operating is paramount for the organization itself and its customers and stakeholders.

BIP 0008 is a direct requirement for all public bodies to implement the code of practice.

This code of practice has been published in recognition of the growth in electronic information management systems, and the continuing uncertainty about the legal acceptability of information stored on these systems.
