Option 3: Dispatch Operative
Relevant roles include:

Learners develop the skills to manage passenger needs, respond to incidents, maintain safety compliance and deliver a consistently high standard of service, even under pressure. Throughout the programme, apprentices apply their learning directly within your operation, ensuring development translates into real improvements in safety, service quality and passenger satisfaction.
We tailor delivery to your organisation's operational environment and service standards. Each learner is supported by a dedicated Trainer who provides structured guidance, mentoring and End-Point Assessment preparation, always working towards a Distinction outcome.
Our blended learning model combines live workshops, virtual learning and face-to-face support, designed to fit around the demands of a live transport operation.
Why Linden is the Right Partner for Your Talent
Frontline transport roles carry real responsibility. Your operatives are the face of your service, managing safety, compliance and passenger experience simultaneously. Developing that capability requires a training partner who understands the demands of the sector.
Since 2012, Linden has supported over 10,000 learners to achieve their apprenticeship qualifications. We work closely with transport employers to ensure every programme reflects your operational standards, regulatory environment and service expectations.
Training That Builds Real Operational Capability
The Standard develops competency across:
Health, safety and compliance in a regulated transport environment
Incident response, emergency procedures and security awareness
Safeguarding and supporting vulnerable passengers
Passenger communication, conflict management and complaint handling
Ticketing systems, cash handling and sales promotion
Onboard environment management and service turnaround
Dispatch procedures and safe vehicle operations
Customer service across a diverse range of passengers
Route planning and impartial travel solutions
The result is transport operatives who are confident in their role, consistent in their standards and capable of representing your organisation in every passenger interaction.
End-Point Assessment
The End-Point Assessment (EPA) is the final stage of the apprenticeship, confirming each learner's ability to perform safely and effectively within a live passenger transport environment.
The EPA assesses knowledge, skills and behaviours across all elements of the Standard, with each learner evaluated against the competencies relevant to their chosen pathway.
Our Trainers provide structured EPA preparation throughout the programme, ensuring every apprentice is confident, evidenced and ready to perform at their best.
