General Manager

This programme develops the practical skills required to manage complex operations, improve performance and align team activity to organisational strategy.

Learners build capability in strategic planning, business development, financial management, performance improvement and change leadership. They learn how to set clear KPIs, manage budgets and forecasts, lead people effectively and communicate vision with clarity.

Throughout the programme, managers apply their learning directly to real workplace challenges, ensuring development translates into measurable business impact.

We tailor delivery to your organisation and assign a dedicated Trainer who supports the learner from enrolment through to End-Point Assessment, guiding project work, evidence development and structured preparation, always aiming for a Distinction outcome.

Our blended learning model combines live workshops, virtual learning and face-to-face visits to provide flexibility while maintaining accountability and momentum.

Professional Recognition

On completion, apprentices can register as full members of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and/or the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM).

Those with three years’ management experience may apply for Chartered Manager status through the CMI — providing recognised professional credibility alongside the apprenticeship qualification.
