Warehouse & Supply Chain
Our industry specific apprenticeships are designed for learners across a spectrum of job roles from Warehouse Operatives to Senior Management professionals.
The logistics sector is a vital part of the business economy, responsible for the direct and indirect employment of millions of people in the UK.
Companies are now increasingly using distribution and warehousing capabilities to differentiate themselves from their competitors.
We work as your partner in delivering on that vision, developing stronger employees who work well as individuals and as part of a team through our range of Warehousing & Supply Chain qualifications to up skill your workforce and achieve higher productivity, quality and growth.
Warehousing apprenticeships are nationally designed training programmes aimed at employees who are new to the industry and those who wish to broaden their existing knowledge and skills.
Warehousing apprenticeships cover all aspects of receipt, storage and distribution of stock from delivery of goods and materials to the warehouse, through to sales promotion, health and safety and customer service techniques.
Supply Chain Operators are primarily responsible for managing the movement of goods for a variety of customers across all sectors, and as such their customer base will range from large global organisations to sole traders and private customers in local areas, depending on their organisation.
They may be required to work in shifts, for example overnight or working on weekends, and some may be required to work internationally in Europe or at worldwide destinations.
At Linden we go further in understanding what it is that our clients want to achieve from their training.
I completed my warehouse and storage level two, and I’m looking forward to progressing onto level three to get to the next stage of my career.
